Arrive on Friday night, bed your horse down in the corral across from your cozy rustic 2 bed Bunkie (with hydro) that is located in our wooded lot up the back trail. Then, come join the group for a campfire, cocktail and mini clinic. Your stay with us will include all delicious home cooked country meals and beverages.

We are super excited to have a Mountain Trail *Coach*Clinician*Trainer*Judge*Competior here at Oak Springs Farm over the summer months to help us understand, train, learn and build the new discipline, Mountain Trail. She will also be judging our IMTCA sanctioned challenges along with another judge.

Kelly Chapman has been professionally training, giving lessons, and conducting clinics to help horsemen and women achieve their goals in horsemanship for nine years. Her main objective is to assist riders of all disciplines from trail riders to dressage to become a confident effective rider and horseman. In recent years she has served as a judge regularly at one of Ohio’s trail competition parks and also judges the largest Quarter Horse Trail Competition Challenge in the nation at Tri-Co Horsemen’s Camp in Stark County Ohio. Last year Kelly became certified as an International Mountain Trail Challenge Association (IMTCA) judge. She now judges all over the country including the first ever Mountain Trail Challenge held in Vancouver, Washington at the Washington Horse Expo, and at the first built IMTCA Park in Ontario, Canada. “There is no better way to build a partnership and trust than obstacle and trail work. I am so excited to be on the ground floor of the fastest growing discipline in the country.” Currently Kelly is operating and managing her own training facility, Kelly Chapman Natural Horse Training in Akron, Ohio. She travels giving lessons and doing clinics where her goal and passion is to motivate and inspire people of all ages to become better communicators and partners with their horse through the use of natural horsemanship.
